Brad Pitt seems to be in a serious relationship with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, a jewelry designer. However, he wants to sign a prenuptial agreement with her, before making their association recognized.
Meanwhile, after a prolonged legal battle with Angelina Jolie, the ‘Fight Club’ actor finalized the divorce settlements on December 30. Jolie’s lawyers mentioned that she is exhausted from the drama but glad that it is over.
While Pitt legally declared himself officially single in 2019, those close to him believe that he was waiting for the legal proceedings to end to announce their engagement to the public. The plans, however, seem to be going astray, as the jewelry professional is hesitant to sign a prenup, as per In Touch’s reports. The insider mentioned, “The main reason is that she’s refusing to sign a prenup. Ines doesn’t want to totally sign away her rights. It’s become a touchy subject for both of them.”
According to the insiders, the ‘Se7en’ actor’s demands are considerable as he wants to protect his assets of $400M. However, previously, Jolie and Pitt signed a prenuptial agreement in 2014, yet they had to endure a legal battle involving their six children, and their shared properties like French Vineyard, and Château Miraval – which they are still fighting over. “Brad knows a prenup is necessary to move forward with Ines, but he isn’t in a place where he wants to deal with any more legal back-and-forth,” the insider claimed.
Concurrently, Ines, who began dating Pitt in 2022, appears to be frustrated with Pitt’s demands as she feels unfair, especially when she helped the actor mend his estranged relationship with his children. Ines wants to marry Brad and start a family with him. The insider added, “Taking that next step without ensuring she will be protected isn’t all that appealing to her, though. While she understands Brad has been through the ringer with Angelina, it seems unfair she has to pay the price for how jaded he’s become.”
