Apple Launches iPhone 16e in India, Starting at ₹59,900

Tech giant Apple has recently unveiled the iPhone 16e, the most affordable model in the iPhone Series 16, in India. The new smartphone, equipped with the advanced Bionic A18 chipset, boasts impressive features, including a 6.1-inch XDR display and a battery that offers up to 26 hours of backup.

The iPhone 16e features Apple’s first in-house modem, the ‘Apple C1’. The smartphone is available in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, with a starting price of ₹59,900. Pre-booking for the iPhone 16e began at 6:30 p.m. on February 21, and deliveries will commence on February 28.

The iPhone 16e retains the signature flat-edge design seen in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 series, offering a premium and modern look. The frame is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, making the device both lightweight and sturdy. However, the iPhone 16e features a single rear camera and does not include the camera control and dynamic island present in the iPhone 16 series.
