Actress Ayesha Jhulka has been evicted from Celebrity Masterchef after failing to overcome the final black apron challenge of the week. The show, hosted by Farah Khan, has entered its fourth week, with challenges becoming increasingly difficult for the contestants.
In the latest round, contestants Dipika Kakar, Usha Nadkarni, Ayesha Jhulka, and Faisu faced off in the black apron challenge. Despite her best efforts, Ayesha Jhulka, known for her iconic role in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, was unable to secure her place in the competition and was eliminated. Ayesha had joined the show as a wild card contestant in the second week.
This week proved to be particularly challenging for Ayesha. Her dish in the blind-wall challenge was criticized by judges Farah Khan, and chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna. Although she prepared an impressive dish in the team challenge on Thursday, her team received fewer votes, landing her in the danger zone. Prior to Ayesha, comedian Chandan Prabhakar and singer Abhijeet Sawant were also evicted from the show.
In addition to Ayesha’s departure, actress Dipika Kakar Ibrahim is reportedly considering quitting the show due to health reasons. She missed several episodes this week due to illness and later revealed that she developed lymph nodes near her left shoulder and was undergoing medication. Dipika had previously suffered a muscle injury a few weeks ago.
Following Ayesha’s eviction, the remaining contestants vying for the title of Celebrity Masterchef are Rajiv Adatia, Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Archana Gautam, Nikki Tamboli, Kabita Singh, Mr Faisu, and Usha Nadkarni. A new wild card entry is expected to join the competition in the coming week.
Celebrity Masterchef airs on Sony TV every Monday to Friday at 8 pm, showcasing intense culinary battles and dramatic moments as contestants strive to impress the judges and avoid elimination.
