CM Yogi’s dream project gets momentum, Bhoomi Pujan of country’s largest air cargo terminal held

CM Yogi’s efforts to achieve the target of one trillion dollar economy by developing Uttar Pradesh as a landlocked free state have now gained further strength.

AISATS Noida Cargo Terminal Private Limited, the SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) of Air India SATS (AISATS), a joint venture between Air India and SATS, has performed the Bhoomi Pujan for its state-of-the-art Multi-Modal Cargo Hub (MMCH) at Noida International Airport, Jewar. This state-of-the-art multi-modal cargo hub promises to provide smart, seamless, scalable and secure solutions to the Indian air cargo and logistics supply chain sector with a blending of tradition and modernity. It is noteworthy that the Integrated Cargo Terminal and Logistics Park being built at Noida International Airport is the dream project of CM Yogi. It will not only connect the state to the entire country, but it will also play an important role in connecting ASEAN countries and the proposed India-UAE Europe Economic Corridor

May be launched in 2024

The company had signed an MoU worth Rs 5,000 crore with the state government in the Global Investors Summit held in the month of February. In this, one MoU was for integrated cargo liner and the other was for building a logistics park. In this, the company has completed the Bhoomi Pujan of Air Cargo by putting its first MOU on the ground. In the first phase, the company will invest a total of Rs 1200 crore, out of which the company has so far invested Rs 456 crore. The company is aiming to prepare this multi-modal cargo hub by the opening of Noida International Airport. There is a possibility that with the inauguration of Noida International Airport in 2024, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may also launch this multi-modal cargo hub. Top officials from AI SATS, YIAPL and Tata Projects participated in the Bhoomi Pujan.

UP’s exports will increase manifold

According to the information received, this multi-model cargo terminal is being built on 37 acres. A bigger cargo terminal than this has not been built yet. Through this, the exports of entire UP will increase manifold. Agro market, ODOP market, MSME market of UP will be able to connect with the world market. People from outside will be able to order goods from here. ASEAN countries will benefit from this and they will also be able to import products from the UP market through air cargo. Along with this, the economic corridor being built between India-UAE and Europe will also be of great benefit. Through this, UP will also be helped in connecting with UAE and Europe. In simple words, this cargo will work as a growth engine in the growth of UP. This will break the status of land locked state of UP and ensure multidimensional development of the state. It will cover the surrounding regions like North India, East India as well as East Asia.
