Karan Veer Mehra has been basking in love and admiration ever since winning Bigg Boss 18. Despite facing heavy criticism and frequent targeting by fellow contestants throughout the season, his resilience won over fans. During the Weekend Ka Vaar segment, host Farah Khan defended Karan Veer, likening his journey to that of the late Sidharth Shukla, the iconic winner of BB13. Farah went on to call this season the Karan Veer Mehra Show. Adding to the excitement, Farah, who is an active YouTuber, recently shared a heartwarming update with her Instagram followers—a picture of her hugging Karan Veer, hinting at an upcoming episode featuring him.
After Farah shared the picture with Karan Veer, the comments section was flooded with positive messages from his fans, excited to see him on her show. In the photo, both of them are smiling. While Karan is overjoyed after taking home the BB trophy, Farah is equally thrilled, as her favourite contestant won despite facing many challenges in the show. Sharing the picture, the filmmaker wrote, “Coming soon on my YouTube channel. Me and my favorite contestant of Bigg Boss 18, Karan Veer Mehra.”
During one of the weekend episodes of Bigg Boss 18, Farah Khan criticised some of the contestants but took the opportunity to praise Karan Veer Mehra and his gameplay.
She said, “Welcome to Bigg Boss 18, as we know in the outside world, the Karan Veer Mehra show. This whole house is revolving around Karan. You only hear about Karan, Karan’s issues, Karan’s gossip, which is why I said this has become the Karan Veer Mehra show. Last I saw one contestant get targeted just like this, that was Sidharth Shukla and he won the show. Selective anger, whenever there’s a fight, it’s always about Karan. You need to be very careful, your humour doesn’t always sit well with everyone, but I love it. You’re the only one with a sense of humour, whether it’s grey, dark or whatever. But you have to be very careful because everyone has a target on your back.”
Karan Veer Mehra won Bigg Boss 18 by defeating Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang and Eisha Singh.
