Heat the butter in a large frying pan and when foaming, add the walnuts and garlic, continue to cook until the butter turns a light golden colour and has a nutty aroma.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t3. Stir together all ingredients in a medium bowl.<br \/>\n\t2. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. (Best served within 2 hours.) Great with tortilla chips or served over grilled chicken or pork.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<table align=\"center\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsvoir.com\/images\/article\/image2\/36777_cherry-2.jpg\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>\n\t<strong><span><span>Cherry Walnut Salsa\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span><span><strong>Sweet Potato &amp; Walnut Brownies<\/strong><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span><span><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br \/>\n\t1 medium sweet potato, about 250g, diced\u00a0<br \/>\n\t50g cocoa powder<br \/>\n\t30g plain flour<br \/>\n\t30g wholemeal plain flour<br \/>\n\t1 teaspoon baking powder<br \/>\n\t\u00bc teaspoon salt<br \/>\n\t225g medjool dates, pitted &amp; roughly chopped<br \/>\n\t100g butter, melted<br \/>\n\t1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br \/>\n\t3 medium eggs<br \/>\n\t75g California walnuts, chopped<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span><span><strong>Preparation:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n\t1. Preheat the oven to 180\u00b0C, gas mark 4.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t2. Grease and line a 20cm square tin.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t3. Place the diced sweet potato and 2 tablespoons water in a microwaveable bowl, cover and cook on high for 6 minutes until tender, allow to cool.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t4. Mix together the cocoa, both flours, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t5. Place the cooled sweet potato in a food processor with the dates, butter and vanilla and blend until smooth.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t6. Add in the eggs and blend again.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t7. Stir into the dry ingredients with 50g of the walnuts.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t8. Transfer to the prepared tin and smooth the surface, sprinkle over the remaining walnuts and bake for 25 minutes.\u00a0<br \/>\n\t9.
