Financial technology provider Intellect Design Arena Ltd on Friday (January 24) reported a 35% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit at ₹70.7 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, compared to ₹52.4 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenue from operations increased 9.2% to ₹609.6 crore against ₹558 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
At the operating level, EBIT zoomed 88% to ₹79 crore over ₹42 crore in Q3 FY24. The EBIT margin stood at 13% in the reporting quarter compared to 7.5% in the same quarter last fiscal. EBIT is earnings before interest and taxes.
For Q3 FY25, Intellect Design reported platform revenue of ₹50 crore, license revenue of ₹118 crore, and AMC revenue of ₹124 crore, taking the total licence-linked revenue (platform + licence + AMC) to ₹292 crore. The company achieved a profit before tax (PBT) of ₹93 crore and collections amounting to ₹553 crore during the quarter.
Intellect’s eMACH.ai platform accelerated growth with 11 new customers onboarded, while 16 global financial institutions successfully went live on Intellect platforms, advancing their digital transformation journey.
For the nine months ending December 2024, Intellect Design’s total revenue stood at ₹1,768 crore. Licence-linked revenue contributed ₹855 crore, comprising platform revenue of ₹162 crore, licence revenue of ₹329 crore, and AMC revenue of ₹365 crore. The company reported an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of ₹702 crore, EBITDA of ₹320 crore, and PBT of ₹261 crore.
For the last 12 months (LTM) ending Q3 FY25, total revenue reached ₹2,380 crore. Licence-linked revenue accounted for ₹1,163 crore, including platform revenue of ₹218 crore, licence revenue of ₹462 crore, and AMC revenue of ₹482 crore. The ARR for this period stood at ₹700 crore. EBITDA for the LTM period was ₹457 crore, while PBT was reported at ₹383 crore.
The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Intellect Design Arena Ltd ended at ₹895.20, down by ₹3.55, or 0.39%, on the BSE.
