Mira Rajput’s Maldives Trip Was A ‘Food Heaven’, Pictures Inside

Shahid Kapoor’s doting wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor is a true blue travel enthusiast. But guess what accompanies her on her adventures? Undoubtedly, scrumptious food. The celebrity influencer keeps inspiring everyone with her lively updates on social media. Currently, she is spending a lovely time with her family on a beach vacation in the Maldives and shared the ultimate list of must-try dishes she ate over there.

Taking to Instagram, Mira Rajput Kapoor dropped a carousel featuring her delicious food moments during her trip to the Maldives. The post began with a charming selfie of her, in which she was seen lounging on a comfy couch wearing a grey-hued bathrobe. The loose and open strands of her hair also left wet imprints on the cushion, revealing that she must have taken the picture right after coming out from a refreshing shower. Additionally, she flaunted her no makeup and a radiant glow on her face was visible, proving how relaxing the trip was.

Following the photo, Mira showed what made her feel “heavenly” on her trip to Maldives and dropped a series of pictures of all the dishes she relished there. She also gave a shoutout to Patina Maldives, a luxury island resort destination in the Maldives, where she stayed with her family. The caption alongside Mira’s post read, “Swipe for my food diary by the beach. You all know I’m a vegetarian and my trip to @patinamaldives was absolute food heaven. Not a dish disappointed. The enormous breakfast spread, several restaurants with a menu that left us spoilt for choice as veggies and fun food trucks made the trip one of my favourites.”

However, the mother of two also revealed the dish that the entire family relished almost daily. She continued in the caption, “What you can’t see is the burger we had every day from the Go-go Burger food truck & the Baos from Tum Tum (they were eaten before I could take a picture).”

The first food slide in Mira’s carousel featured a pink-hued coffee mug with a heart made on it. The mug was kept on an aesthetically decorated table, and in the background, we can spot a plate full of croissants and a small glass of what looked like beetroot juice. Talking about the coffee, she revealed, “The coffee that was so good, we brought the beans back home.” Next was a Congee for breakfast from the Asian spread, which according to Mira, was “wholesome and warming”, then a frame featuring “pool side grub”. It included a few slices of half-eaten Pizza kept on a plate, which made the celebrity wife say, “The dough was so good I ate the kids pizza sides,” and Mattar Paneer, chapatis, french fries and an assortment of chutneys were also on the same table.

The fourth food slide featured a unique dish along with which Mira mentioned, “My kids call it cheese samosa but this was Rokakat at Arabesque.” The post also included Hot and Sour soup for the soul and the stickiest crispy eggplant at Wok Society, followed by a Maldivian local dish which Mira had every morning and Pumpkin Mas Huni with yam chips, an Oil & Salt Bar which served porcini infused olive oil, a breakfast plate for veggies, Spa Day spread, roasted Eggplant with chimichurri and tahini sauce at Portico, a pot of Oolong and “pillowy soft” labneh. The seventh food slide showed a square-shaped creamy mushroom crepe. Talking about this, Mira said, “It was with dosa batter that Chef Mohit improvised because he said ‘You shouldn’t eat the same breakfast everyday on holiday.’ Yum!”

After all those foodie glimpses, we must say that Mira’s trip to the Maldives was indeed a foodilicious one.
