In a sharp political salvo ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has dismissed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as “not mass leaders,” accusing the NDA of orchestrating crowds for Modi’s recent rally in Siwan. His remarks have intensified the ongoing war of words between the NDA and the RJD-Congress alliance.
🗣️ “Crowds Were Forced, Not Voluntary”
“The administration was deployed to gather the crowd. People were brought forcefully,” Tejashwi alleged, adding, “PM Modi or CM Nitish Kumar are not mass leaders. Lakhs of people would gather if Lalu Ji simply stood on the road.”
He further claimed that government machinery and public funds were misused to stage the rally, stating that despite heavy spending, the turnout was underwhelming.
🔥 NDA Hits Back
Bihar Minister Ashok Choudhary and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi defended the rally, asserting that the Prime Minister’s visit was focused on developmental initiatives, not electoral optics.
“The PM is concerned about Bihar’s progress. This is not about elections,” Manjhi said.
