Urvashi Rautela is making headlines for ‘insensitive’ comments, particularly regarding the attack on Saif Ali Khan. These remarks have stirred major debate, with celebrities and social media users weighing in. Recently, actor Nakuul Mehta took an indirect jibe at the Daaku Maharaaj actress.
While attempting to condemn the attack on Saif Ali Khan, Urvashi appeared to focus more on showcasing her diamond-studded jewellery rather than emphasising the seriousness of the situation. This caused an uproar on social media, with many accusing her of being ‘insensitive’. To address the backlash, Urvashi posted an apology on Instagram, but shortly after, she deleted it.
Nakuul Mehta takes jibe on Urvashi
Recently, Nakuul Mehta took to X (formerly Twitter) and reacted to Urvashi Rautela’s comments. He wrote, “In today’s popular opinion, Urvashi Rautela should be our national spokesperson.”
While some users found his comment amusing, others took to the platform to share their opinions. One follower commented, “She is too tone-deaf and self-absorbed to be of any intellectual value,” while another quipped, “Will be so soothing in diplomatic talk.”
Urvashi’s comment on Game Changer
Adding fuel to the fire, Urvashi’s remarks on Game Changer, a film starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, sparked even more outrage. She called the film a “disaster” and compared its performance to her own movie Daaku Maharaaj, which she described as a “blockbuster hit.” This comment did not go down well with fans and industry professionals, especially as Game Changer was highly anticipated.
In an interview with Lehren TV, Urvashi seemed to downplay the film’s failure, stating, “Shankar sir is a very celebrated director. I’ve worked with him before too in Indian 2. I think ye pura hi game change ho gaya because obviously woh film ka bhi bohot zaada hype tha (I think the entire game got changed because even that film obviously was much hyped).” “But I think ki agar Kiara Advani ki Game Changer disaster hui hai and meri Daaku Maharaaj blockbuster hit hogayi hai, then it’s not my mistake. I feel, ‘Kyun yeh tweets wagera horahi hai’ (if Kiara Advani’s Game Changer is a disaster and my Daaku Maharaaj is a blockbuster hit, then it’s not my mistake).”
