Parineeti Celebrates Her Mother Reena Chopra’s Birthday: ‘Director & Producer Of My Life’

Parineeti Chopra is the happiest daughter as her mother Reena Chopra celebrates her birthday today. The actress extended her heartfelt wishes to her mother on the special day. How? She dropped a post on social media, dedicated to her mother. It comprised a bunch of pictures featuring the actress and her mother. The caption attached to the carousel stole the limelight, though. Putting her humorous side to display, Parineeti referred to her mother as the director and producer of her life. That’s not all. The post has more to it.

Parineeti Chopra’s wholesome note for her mother read, “Film: Parineeti Chopra. Produced by : Reena Chopra. Directed by : Reena Chopra. Dialogues (how to speak) : Reena Chopra. Action (how to walk) : Reena Chopra. Food n Beverage (lifelong) : Reena Chopra.”

Continuing, she added, “Happppyy bdayyyyy to my producer, director – basically everything! This film called Parineeti, Sahaj and Shivang would have never released without you (and papa, yes, but its not his bday). The cutest, giggliest and literally the most intelligent woman I know. We love you mom!”

For the first picture of the carousel, Parineeti Chopra picked a hidden gem from her archives. It was a throwback picture featuring her with her mother Reena Chopra. Attached next is a photo from one of her wedding festivities. Next, she added an image from one of their vacays. One of the standout frames captured a precious moment between Reena Chopra and her son-in-law, Raghav Chadha. Some additional slides featured solo photos of the actress’s mother.

Earlier this year in May, Reena Chopra reflected on her bond with her daughter, Parineeti Chopra. She said, “The bond I share with Parineeti is a strangely wonderful one. Even though I am her mother and always will be, now at times, I feel that the roles are reversed. She’s literally my 4 am friend in the real sense of the word.”

Further, she describes the actress as her mentor and guide. “Today, I feel she’s my mentor, my guide. She’s the best person to give me all kinds of advice that I need, whether it’s personal or professional or related to the family or anyone.”
