His itinerary includes the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal and the release of the 19th instalment of cash assistance to farmers in Bhagalpur.
*Madhya Pradesh*
On Sunday, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute in Chhatarpur. On Monday, he will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal. The summit aims to establish Madhya Pradesh as a global investment hub and will feature departmental summits and specialised sessions on various sectors, including pharma and medical devices, transport and logistics, industry, skill development, tourism, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The summit will also include international sessions focusing on the Global South countries, Latin America, and the Caribbean, along with special sessions for key partner countries. Three major industrial exhibitions—the auto show, the textile and fashion expo, and one on ‘One District-One Product’ (ODOP)—will showcase the state’s unique craftsmanship and cultural heritage. Representatives from over 60 countries, officials from various international organisations, and over 300 prominent industry leaders from India and policymakers will participate in the summit.
*Bihar*
In Bhagalpur on Monday, PM Modi will release the 19th instalment of the ‘PM KISAN’ scheme, providing direct financial benefits amounting to more than Rs 21,500 crore to over 9.7 crore farmers across the country. He will also inaugurate various development projects in Bihar, including the Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Breeds in Motihari and a milk product plant in Barauni, aiming to create an organised market for three lakh milk producers.
The programme in Bihar will mark the milestone of the formation of the 10,000th Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) in the country, which helps farmers collectively market and produce their agricultural products.
*Assam*
In Assam, PM Modi will attend the ‘Jhumoir Binandini’ cultural extravaganza on Monday evening, featuring 8,000 performers participating in the Jhumoir dance, a folk dance of the Assam tea tribe and Scheduled Tribes of Assam. The event symbolises 200 years of the tea industry and 200 years of industrialisation in Assam.
On Tuesday, Modi will inaugurate the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit in Guwahati. The summit will include an inaugural session, seven ministerial sessions, and 14 thematic sessions. A comprehensive exhibition will illustrate the state’s economic landscape, focusing on its industrial evolution, global trade partnerships, booming industries, and the vibrant MSME sector, featuring over 240 exhibitors.
