Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his relentless efforts toward the welfare and development of India’s indigenous communities. Speaking at a party program in Takarjala, Sepahijala district, CM Saha emphasized that the BJP-led government, both at the state and central levels, is committed to uplifting tribal populations and ensuring their inclusion in the nation’s progress.
“Prime Minister Modi has always prioritized the development of indigenous people, not just in Tripura but across the country. His vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas’ reflects the government’s dedication to fostering equality and growth for all,” Saha stated.
The Chief Minister highlighted several initiatives aimed at improving the lives of tribal communities, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. He also noted the government’s efforts to resolve long-standing issues, such as the rehabilitation of Bru refugees, which has brought stability and hope to affected families.
During the event, CM Saha welcomed over 140 new members from opposition parties, including Congress and CPI-M, into the BJP fold. He expressed confidence that the growing support for the BJP among indigenous communities would strengthen the state’s socio-political fabric.
The program also saw the participation of leaders from the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) and Tipra Motha Party, who reiterated their commitment to working collaboratively for the betterment of tribal populations.
As Tripura continues to witness transformative changes under the BJP’s leadership, CM Saha’s remarks underscore the government’s focus on inclusive development and its resolve to address the unique challenges faced by indigenous communities.
