Powered by Jemimah’s hundred, India post their highest-ever total in ODIs

India Women showcased exceptional batting prowess under stand-in captain Smriti Mandhana, recording their highest-ever ODI total of 370/5 in the second ODI against Ireland in Rajkot on January 12. The dominant innings featured superb top-order performances, highlighted by Jemimah Rodrigues’ scintillating maiden ODI century.

Rodrigues displayed composure and flair, anchoring the innings with precision and flair to guide India past their previous best of 358/2, also set against Ireland in 2017. Ireland’s bowlers struggled to contain India’s batters, who collectively hit a total of 44 boundaries and 3 sixes, flowing freely on a batting-friendly pitch in Rajkot.
