Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch its much-anticipated Galaxy S25 Edge on April 15, 2025. According to a leak from Dutch publication Nieuwe Mobiel, the slim and lightweight smartphone could make its global debut on this date, with the India launch potentially following on April 16, depending on time zones.
The Galaxy S25 Edge has already generated significant buzz, having been showcased at major events such as Galaxy Unpacked in January and MWC in March. The device is expected to feature a sleek design with a thickness of just 5.84mm and a weight of 162g, making it one of the slimmest and lightest smartphones in the market.
Key specifications include a dual-camera setup with a 200MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, along with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM, and will offer storage options of 256GB and 512GB. It is also expected to feature a 6.65-inch AMOLED display and a 4,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in three color options—Black, Silver, and Blue—and is rumored to be priced between $1,200 and $1,400 (approximately ₹1,11,000 to ₹1,31,900) in India.
Samsung has not officially confirmed the launch date, but the reports suggest that the event will be held online, allowing global audiences to tune in. The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to cater to a niche segment of flagship buyers who prioritize luxury, performance, and aesthetics.
