Tata Motors has officially showcased the production-ready version of its much-anticipated Harrier EV, signaling its imminent launch in the Indian market. The electric SUV was recently revealed at the automaker’s Pune facility, where it demonstrated its capabilities on a test track.
The Harrier EV retains the iconic design of its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart, with subtle yet distinct EV-specific updates. Notable changes include a closed-off grille, redesigned bumpers with vertical slats, and aerodynamically enhanced alloy wheels. The SUV also features connected LED DRLs and taillights with welcome and goodbye animations, adding a modern touch to its aesthetics.
Inside, the Harrier EV boasts a premium cabin equipped with cutting-edge features. Highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system. The vehicle also offers advanced safety features such as seven airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Built on Tata’s dedicated “Acti.ev” platform, the Harrier EV is powered by dual-electric motors and an all-wheel-drive system. It is expected to deliver a range of over 500 kilometers on a single charge, making it a strong contender in the electric SUV segment. The vehicle is anticipated to be priced starting at approximately ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom).
