Sony Entertainment Television’s Celebrity MasterChef continues to deliver high-stakes culinary moments as contestants tackle the “Italy via India” challenge. This time, contestants were pushed to showcase their creativity by preparing a dish that reflects one color from the Italian flag—all within 90 minutes. Celebrity cook Tejasswi Prakash chose white and dedicated herself to crafting a special risotto.
A Culinary Triumph
Chef Ranveer Brar was the first to taste Tejasswi’s risotto. He asked her, “When you tasted this, did you remember your mom? Are you convinced by the emotions you wanted to bring in?” Dramatically tapping his spoon on the table, he validated her dish, exclaiming, “This is your best dish.”
The surprises didn’t stop there. An impressed Farah Khan kissed Tejasswi’s hand in a gesture of appreciation. She stated, “This is the best risotto I have ever eaten. I don’t even like risotto—but this is so flavorful.” A visibly emotional Tejasswi was moved by the judges’ responses.

Tejasswi shared, “Winning a golden star was special, but what made it unforgettable was my mom’s reaction. The moment she heard the news, she had happy tears in her eyes. Even now, whenever she talks about it, I can see that same pride on her face. This wasn’t just my victory; it was hers too.” Host Bharti Singh, relating as a mother, expressed, “I totally get how your mom feels! When my son Gola makes a drawing, no matter how silly, I feel like it’s a masterpiece. A mother sees the best in everything her child does.”
