Tunisha Sharma Death Anniversary: Sheezan Khan pens a heartfelt note remembering the actress; writes ‘Tu yahin hai, yahin kahin hai’

The news of Tunisha Sharma’s death shocked the industry. She committed suicide in one of the make-up rooms on the show’s sets. On the late actress’s death anniversary (December 24), Sheezan Khan uploaded a nostalgic video along with a sad letter. The video captures poignant moments from Alibaba’s sets as he thinks about the camaraderie they shared.

Sheezan Khan took to his own Instagram account and shared a video of his meaningful moments with his co-star from the Alibaba Daastan-e-Kabul performance. In the caption, he said, “Tu Yahin Hai, Yahin Kahin Hai!”

In response to the message, many of Sheezan’s professional pals paid respect to Tunisha Sharma. Falaq Naaz, the former’s sister, also posted a white dove and heart emoji in the comments area. Meanwhile, one fan commented, “Alibaba and Marjina are our favourites.” Another commenter wrote, “Sirf yaadey hi reh jati hai.”

Previously, when Alibaba Daastan-e-Kabul celebrated its second anniversary, the Nazar actor wrote a lengthy essay reminiscing memories from the show. He also shared several photos with Tunisha.

For those who are unaware, Khan was arrested following Tunisha’s death after the actress’ mother accused him of assisting her suicide. The claims further claimed that he exploited Sharma. Sheezan spent several months in police custody as the inquiry progressed until being freed on March 5, 2023. His family welcomed him, especially his sisters, actresses Shafaq Naaz and Falaq Naaz, and his mother.

Sheezan battled with the psychological consequences of his experiences after being released, acquiring PTSD symptoms. He also sought medical treatment. On the other side, the producers of Alibaba Daastan-E-Kabul reworked the show with a new cast and changed the title to Alibaba: Ek Andaaz Andekha.
