Xiaomi has officially confirmed the India launch of its highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 series. Following its global unveiling at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra are set to debut in India on April 11. Given its advanced hardware, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to cross the ₹1 lakh price barrier in India. The “Xiaomi 15 Ultra Photography Kit Legend Edition,” an elaborate camera accessory, is priced at EUR 199 (approximately ₹18,100) in Europe.

Both the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra are designed as photography powerhouses. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a quad-camera setup with Leica-tuned optics, including a 50MP Sony LYT900 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lens, a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The Xiaomi 15, on the other hand, has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP LightHunter 900 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. Both models come with a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The Xiaomi 15 features a slightly smaller 6.36-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with similar brightness and refresh rate capabilities. Both smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform and run Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. They also feature ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners and IP68 dust and water resistance.
