Amit Shah Urges Karnataka BJP Brass to Reconnect with Disgruntled Leaders Amid Internal Discord

In a bid to quell rising dissent within the Karnataka BJP, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has directed the party’s state leadership to reach out to disgruntled members and restore internal unity. The directive came during Shah’s visit to Bengaluru, where he held a closed-door meeting with top state leaders following recent expulsions and growing unrest in party ranks.

🗣️ Shah’s Message: “Take Everyone Along”

Shah reportedly acknowledged the ongoing dissidence and advised state brass to engage with sidelined leaders and address their concerns. The move follows the expulsion of three MLAs—Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, Shivaram Hebbar, and ST Somashekar—which has intensified factionalism within the party.

“Brass has been asked to take everyone along,” a senior BJP functionary confirmed.

The meeting was attended by:

  • BY Vijayendra, State BJP President
  • R Ashoka, Leader of the Opposition
  • Arvind Bellad, Deputy Opposition Leader
  • Basavaraj Bommai, Former Chief Minister and MP

The state unit also requested Shah to clarify the leadership structure, hoping it would ease tensions and prevent further defections.
