Amit Shah Virtually Inaugurates Development Projects Worth ₹150 Crore in Ahmedabad

Union Home Minister Amit Shah virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several development projects worth ₹150 crore in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The projects, aimed at enhancing infrastructure and connectivity, mark a significant step in the region’s development.

Among the key initiatives is the construction of a 1-kilometer-long railway overbridge on the Ahmedabad-Viramgam railway track at Sanand-Chekhla-Kadi Road, with an investment of ₹60 crore. Shah emphasized that the overbridge will greatly improve daily commuting convenience for local residents.

Additionally, the foundation stone was laid for a 4-lane bridge over the Narmada Canal on National Highway No. 147, costing ₹36.30 crore, and a flyover bridge on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar (SG) Highway at Chharodi, valued at ₹45 crore. These projects are expected to set new milestones in the development of the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency.

Shah also announced the construction of a 500-bed state-of-the-art hospital in Sanand, which will operate 24/7 to serve residents of Sanand and Bavla talukas. A 300-bed government hospital is also being built in Kalol Taluka, ensuring access to modern healthcare facilities for the local population.

Highlighting Gujarat’s infrastructure achievements, Shah credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for their efforts in executing numerous development projects across the state. He noted that Gujarat continues to lead in infrastructure development, with these projects expected to boost employment, industry, and business in the region.

The virtual inauguration underscores the government’s commitment to fostering growth and improving the quality of life for residents in Ahmedabad and beyond.
