ISI Chief Reveals Alarming Casualties Among Pakistani Soldiers in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

In a shocking revelation, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Chief Asim Malik disclosed the dire situation faced by security forces in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during a recent meeting with Pakistani expatriates in the United States. According to Malik, approximately 35 soldiers are losing their lives daily in these regions due to escalating insurgent attacks.

The meeting, which aimed to address Pakistan’s worsening political and security crisis, highlighted the intensifying assaults by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Malik reportedly admitted that the military lacks an effective strategy to counter these insurgent groups, resulting in nearly 1,000 soldiers being killed each month.

The ISI Chief’s candid confession underscores the mounting pressure on Pakistan’s security apparatus, including Army Chief General Asim Munir. Malik’s visit to the U.S. was reportedly an attempt to seek external support and build political consensus to stabilize the troubled regions.

The deteriorating conditions in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have raised concerns about Pakistan’s ability to maintain control and ensure the safety of its personnel. As the nation grapples with these challenges, the need for a comprehensive strategy to address insurgent activities and restore stability has become increasingly urgent.
