JP Nadda Meets Families of Pahalgam Attack Victims in Pune, Assures Support

Pune: BJP President JP Nadda met with the families of Santosh Jagdale and Kaustubh Ganbote, victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, during his visit to Pune on April 26, 2025. The attack, which occurred on April 22, claimed 26 lives, leaving the nation in mourning.

Nadda visited the families at their residences in Karvenagar and Kondhwa, offering condolences and paying tribute to the victims. Speaking to reporters, he condemned the attack as a cowardly and inhuman act, assuring the families of the government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, those responsible for this heinous act will face a befitting response,” Nadda stated.

During his visit, Nadda also offered prayers at the Dagdusheth Ganapati Temple, seeking blessings for the nation during this challenging time. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who accompanied Nadda, emphasized the state’s efforts to support the families and strengthen security measures.

The meeting highlighted the government’s resolve to stand by the victims’ families and take decisive action against terrorism. Nadda’s visit has been widely appreciated as a gesture of solidarity and reassurance.
