Shreya Ghoshal, one of India’s most celebrated playback singers, has officially announced the new date for her much-awaited Mumbai concert, which was postponed due to the recent India-Pakistan conflict. The concert, originally scheduled for May 10, will now take place on May 24 at Jio World Garden in BKC, Mumbai.
Ghoshal’s Statement on the Postponement
Taking to Instagram, Ghoshal expressed gratitude to her fans for their patience and understanding. “Mumbai!! New date alert. Thank you for your love, patience, and understanding. As promised, we are coming back stronger and here to heal All Hearts with love and music. See you in just a few days,” she wrote.
Impact of India-Pakistan Conflict on Concerts
The postponement came in the wake of Operation Sindoor, India’s precision strikes on terror infrastructure, which led to retaliatory attacks from Pakistan between May 7-10. Several Indian artists, including Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Papon, and Usha Uthup, also postponed their concerts in solidarity with the nation.
A Night of Nostalgia and Music
Ghoshal’s Mumbai concert, part of her All Hearts Tour, promises an unforgettable evening filled with Bollywood chartbusters and regional classics. With a career spanning decades, she remains one of the most versatile singers in the industry, performing in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, Telugu, and Marathi.
Looking Ahead
Fans who had purchased tickets for the original date need not worry, as they remain valid for the rescheduled concert. BookMyShow, the event’s exclusive ticketing partner, will be reaching out to ticket holders with further instructions.
