PM Modi Visits Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh to Inaugurate Key Infrastructure Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh today to inaugurate and lay the foundation for several major infrastructure projects. His day began in Nagpur, Maharashtra, where he visited Smruti Mandir and Deekshabhoomi, paying homage to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He also laid the foundation stone for the Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre, a state-of-the-art eye care facility.

In Nagpur, PM Modi inaugurated a loitering munition testing range and an airstrip for UAVs at Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited’s ammunition facility. These projects aim to enhance India’s defense capabilities and technological advancements.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister traveled to Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, where he unveiled development projects worth over ₹33,700 crore. These include NTPC’s Sipat Super Thermal Power Project Stage-III, POWERGRID transmission projects, and the Visakh-Raipur Pipeline Project. He also flagged off a MEMU train service and dedicated 130 PM SHRI Schools to the nation.

PM Modi’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to infrastructure development and social welfare, marking a significant boost to the regions’ economic and educational landscapes.
