Tripura ADC to Sponsor ₹50,000 for Nurses’ Japanese Language Training

The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) has announced a significant initiative to empower local youth by sponsoring ₹50,000 per nurse for Japanese language training. This program aims to equip nurses with the skills necessary to secure well-paying jobs in Japan, a country with an aging population and a growing demand for skilled manpower.

A Partnership for Global Opportunities

Making the formal announcement, Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, Chairman of the Administrative Reforms Committee of the TTAADC, revealed that the council has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Navis HR, a company specializing in manpower recruitment for Japan. As part of the program, selected candidates will receive Japanese language and communication skills training in Bangalore.

“Japan, as an aging country, needs manpower, and states like ours with a strong workforce should bridge this gap,” said Debbarman. He emphasized that this initiative is a step towards creating global employment opportunities for the youth of Tripura.

No Upfront Costs for Aspirants

The TTAADC will cover the ₹50,000 training cost for each participant, which will later be adjusted once candidates secure job placements. Aspirants are not required to pay any upfront fees, making the program accessible to all eligible candidates. Debbarman urged the youth to seize this opportunity, citing the success of Malayali and Punjabi diaspora communities who have thrived abroad.

Encouraging Words from Navis HR

Takako Oshibuchi, CEO of Navis HR Japan, shared her optimism about the initiative. “I saw many people working in Japan who are sending money back home for their families’ well-being. I hope the youngsters from Tripura will also earn well once they get placements in Japan,” she stated.

A Pathway to Global Success

This forward-thinking initiative by the TTAADC not only addresses unemployment but also highlights the potential of Tripura’s workforce to contribute internationally. By fostering partnerships and focusing on skill development, the council is paving the way for a brighter future for the state’s youth. Stay tuned for updates on the program’s progress and success stories from participants.
