Samsung surprised fans at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event by unveiling a fourth device in the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S25 Edge. However, the company did not reveal any details about the phone’s specifications, price, or availability. Now, a new report has surfaced, providing a clearer picture of when the device will hit the market.

According to a report by SEDaily, Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge on April 16, 2025, with sales starting in May 2025. The report also mentions that the phone will be available in three color options: Black, Blue, and Silver.

One of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy S25 Edge could be its design. Reports suggest that Samsung might ditch the traditional glass back in favor of a ceramic or glass-ceramic hybrid material. This change could make the phone slimmer and lighter while still keeping it durable. The device is rumored to be just 5.84mm thick.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature a 6.66-inch display. Under the hood, the phone will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and come with 12GB of RAM.
For photography, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to house a dual-rear camera setup, with the primary camera rumored to be a 200MP sensor. Lastly, the device can pack a 3,900mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.
