Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has issued directives to enhance vigilance and intelligence-sharing regarding the presence of Pakistani nationals in the state. During a high-level video conference held at the State Secretariat, CM Saha instructed Superintendents of Police (SPs) and District Magistrates (DMs) across all districts to regularly share critical inputs with the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

The meeting, which reviewed the state’s law and order situation, developmental initiatives, and preparedness for the upcoming storm season, emphasized the importance of preemptive action to address potential security risks. CM Saha, who also holds the Home Minister portfolio, called for constant vigilance and urged officials to promptly alert the administration about any suspicious activities.

In addition to security measures, the Chief Minister highlighted the need to increase public awareness against cybercrime and recommended regular press briefings to educate citizens on the nature and prevention of cyber threats. Senior officials from various departments, including Health, Urban Development, and Transport, participated in the comprehensive review meeting.

The directives come amid growing concerns over cross-border infiltration and national security. CM Saha’s proactive approach underscores the state government’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability in Tripura.
