Recent Drug Network Bust in Agartala

Earlier this week, Agartala Police dismantled a major drug distribution network, arresting eight individuals involved in illegal narcotics trade across the city. Acting on intelligence inputs, the police seized brown sugar (a form of heroin), mobile phones, cash, a vehicle, and other items linked to the trade.

SDPO Debaprasad Roy stated, “We have seized mobile phones, brown sugar, cash, and a vehicle from the accused. They were actively engaged in drug distribution.” The investigation is ongoing, with officials working to uncover the full extent of the network and identify additional suspects.

These operations highlight the concerted efforts of law enforcement agencies in Tripura to combat illegal activities and ensure public safety. Further developments are awaited as investigations progress.
