Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, and his wife Nita Ambani have added a prestigious property to their portfolio with the acquisition of Stoke Park, a historic 300-acre estate on the outskirts of London. The property, purchased for approximately ₹529 crore, is now under the management of Reliance Industrial Investments and Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries.
Stoke Park, a luxurious estate with a rich history spanning nearly a millennium, operates as a five-star hotel featuring 49 opulent rooms, marble-clad bathrooms, and three fine-dining restaurants. The estate also boasts a 27-hole championship golf course, 13 tennis courts, and a 4,000-square-foot gym, making it a haven for sports and fitness enthusiasts.
The property holds significant historical and cultural value. It was once home to Queen Elizabeth I in 1581 and later became the UK’s first country club in 1908. Over the years, Stoke Park has hosted numerous royal events and has been featured in iconic films, including James Bond classics Goldfinger and Tomorrow Never Dies.
Reliance Industries has announced plans to restore Stoke Park as a premier golfing and sports resort, showcasing Indian hospitality on a global stage. The acquisition aligns with the company’s vision to expand its footprint in the international hospitality sector while preserving the estate’s historical legacy.
This landmark purchase underscores the Ambani family’s commitment to blending heritage with modern luxury, further solidifying their influence in the global hospitality industry.
