TBSE Higher Secondary Exams Begin Across Tripura Amid Tight Security

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has commenced the Higher Secondary (Class 12) state board examinations for the year 2025. A total of 21,506 candidates have registered for the exams, which began at 12 pm across the state under tight security.

Speaking to reporters, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjoy Gan Chowdhury stated, “We have 60 centers and 90 venues for the examinations. We have also made arrangements for physically challenged candidates in every center. We are getting good reports from everywhere. Everything is peaceful.”

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha extended his best wishes to the students, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s advice during Pariksha Pe Charcha for students to write their exams in a relaxed mood. “I wish them all the best for their examinations,” Dr. Saha said.

The schedule for the upcoming examinations is as follows:

– February 27: Bangla, Hindi, Kokborok, and Mizo

– March 1: Chemistry and Political Science

– March 3: Business Studies, Education, and Physics

– March 5: Accountancy, Biology, and History

– March 7: Mathematics and Philosophy

– March 10: Economics

– March 12: Psychology

– March 14: Geography

– March 17: Sanskrit, Arabic, and Statistics

– March 19: Sociology

– March 21: Computer Science and Music

– March 22: Examinations for vocational subjects
