Assam Rifles Commander Conference 2025: Focus on Combat Potential and Border Security

Shillong: The Assam Rifles Commander Conference 2025, held at the Directorate General Headquarters in Laitkor, Shillong, concluded with a renewed commitment to enhancing the force’s combat potential and operational readiness. Chaired by Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, the Director General of Assam Rifles, the conference brought together Formation Commanders, Battalion Commanders, and Staff Officers to deliberate on critical security and administrative matters.

The conference emphasized the strategic importance of securing the Indo-Myanmar border and maintaining stability in the Kashmir Valley.
