Owaisi Slams Pakistan, Says Indian Muslims Reject Two-Nation Theory

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly criticized Pakistan, stating that Indian Muslims have always rejected the two-nation theory and remain committed to India.

Speaking to the media, Owaisi remarked, “Pakistan conveniently forgets that there are more than 230 million Muslims living in India, and our forefathers rejected the two-nation theory proposed by Jinnah. We despise it, we reject it, and we accept India as our country.”

Owaisi Condemns Pakistan’s Actions

Owaisi accused Pakistan of using Islam as a facade to justify its actions, questioning why the country continues to bomb Afghan and Iranian border posts despite claiming to uphold Islamic solidarity. He stated, “The Afghans are Muslims, the Iranians are Muslims, the Balochis are their own nationals who are Muslims…so, it is the deep state of Pakistan, which only uses Islam as a cover for its illegal activities and promotion of terrorism.”

Support for India’s Military Action

Owaisi also welcomed India’s targeted strikes on terror hideouts in Pakistan, emphasizing that Pakistan must be taught a lesson to prevent future attacks like the Pahalgam terror incident. He reiterated that Indian Muslims stand firmly with the country and its armed forces against terrorism.

Political and Public Reactions

Owaisi’s remarks have sparked discussions across political circles, with many leaders supporting his stance. His statements come amid heightened tensions following India’s military operations against terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoJK).
