The latest season of Roadies XX: Double Cross has kicked off with contestants fiercely competing for a spot in the finale. However, the recent episode saw a controversial elimination that left many viewers disappointed. Prince Narula, a gang leader, evicted contestant Joel Mathew from his team, but it was the manner of his exit that sparked outrage.
### Allegations of Humiliation
Deekila Sherpa, known for her appearance on Splitsvilla X5 with her ex-boyfriend Aniket Lama, came out in support of Joel and criticized Prince Narula for allegedly humiliating him before his departure. Taking to her Instagram stories, Deekila wrote, “He might be a good performer but not a good leader and I stick by it. What he recently did with Joel was not acceptable at all, he should have let him go with dignity and respect but he chose to humiliate him just to cover up his mistake and what a silly excuse was that ‘warning his team.?!”
### Questioning Leadership Qualities
Deekila further questioned Prince Narula’s leadership qualities, suggesting that a good leader should guide and understand the potential of their team members. “He might know how to use strategy or crack the code of the task but guide!? SORRRRRYYY!,” she added.
### Personal Experience with Prince Narula
Interestingly, Deekila Sherpa recently auditioned for Roadies Double Cross but did not make it past the audition stage. During her audition, she took a dig at Prince Narula, stating that a leader who is “full of himself” cannot effectively guide others. Her remarks offended all the gang leaders, including the show’s host, Rannvijay Singh. Deekila later apologized to Prince in a one-on-one chat, stating that her words did not come out right.
### Sticking to Her Stand
Despite the backlash, Deekila maintained her stance after the latest episode aired, lashing out at Prince Narula for his treatment of Joel. She reiterated her belief that Prince’s actions were inappropriate and emphasized the importance of treating contestants with dignity and respect.
### Roadies XX: Double Cross Updates
The latest season of MTV Roadies XX sees Rannvijay Singha returning as the host after a three-year hiatus. Neha Dhupia has rejoined as a gang leader after four years, adding to the excitement.
