Pakistani Actor Javed Sheikh Opens Up About Emraan Hashmi’s Alleged Rude Behavior on ‘Jannat’ Set

Veteran Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh has recently shared his experience of working with Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi during the filming of the 2008 crime drama Jannat. In a candid conversation on Aaj Entertainment’s YouTube channel, Sheikh revealed that he found Hashmi’s behavior on set to be dismissive and cold, leaving a lasting impression on the seasoned actor.

Sheikh, who played the role of an underworld don in the film, recalled his first meeting with Hashmi at the Newlands Cricket Stadium in South Africa. He mentioned that when he extended his hand for a greeting, Hashmi responded with a cold handshake and turned his face away. “Big stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar respect me and call me ‘Javed Ji,’ but this young actor’s attitude was disappointing,” Sheikh remarked.

The actor further shared that the incident left him irked, and he chose not to interact with Hashmi for the remainder of the shoot. Despite the tension, Jannat, directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, went on to become a box office success, earning praise for its gripping storyline and memorable performances.

While Hashmi has not yet responded to Sheikh’s claims, the revelation has sparked discussions about professionalism and respect in the film industry. Fans of both actors are now revisiting Jannat with a renewed perspective on the dynamics behind the scenes.
