Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has commended the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) for achieving the second position in the latest national DISCOM rankings. The rankings, released by the Ministry of Power, evaluate power distribution companies based on financial sustainability, performance excellence, and compliance with regulations.
Taking to social media, CM Sarma expressed pride in APDCL’s accomplishment, stating, “Assam powers up the charts! We will continue to work hard to build a world-class power distribution company that keeps consumers at the core.” He also shared an image of the rankings, highlighting APDCL’s impressive performance in various categories.
APDCL secured the 10th position in Consumer Service Rating (CSDR), 8th place in the Integrated Ratings Report, and 4th in State Utility Rankings, culminating in its overall second-place finish nationally. This achievement underscores APDCL’s commitment to delivering efficient and reliable power distribution services.
