A massive political induction event was held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan in Guwahati, where several prominent leaders joined the BJP.
- Masuma Begum, former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor and AAP women’s wing president, switched allegiance to the BJP.
- Kalpana Das, former councillor of Ward No. 10 from Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), also joined the saffron party.
- Pranjal Kalita, General Secretary of the Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti (SMSS), the student wing of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), was seen donning BJP colors.
