Freedom 250, a nonprofit organization backed by President Donald Trump and his allies, announced on Friday that its upcoming Great American State Fair on the National Mall will feature a prominent lineup of conservative advocacy groups. The two-week exposition, scheduled to run from June 25 to July 10, aims to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary through a series of exhibits and events in Washington, D.C.

The event has become a focal point of political tension, as Freedom 250 has effectively overshadowed America250, the bipartisan commission chartered by Congress a decade ago to oversee the semiquincentennial celebrations. While the fair promises a wide-reaching cultural showcase, the roster of participants highlights a distinct ideological tilt toward conservative values.

The Landscape of Participants

Among the groups confirmed for the fair are the American Principles Project, the Association of Mature American Citizens, and Hillsdale College, an institution known for its conservative curriculum. Religious organizations such as Focus on the Family and America Prays are also slated to host booths, emphasizing a focus on faith-based initiatives within the public square.
